1. About these terms
These terms set out the agreement between you and us when you use ExamVault. By creating an account, buying a package, or using any part of the service, you accept these terms. If you don't agree to them, please don't use the service.
“We”, “us”, “ExamVault” refer to [Aureans Analytics Ltd](company number [Company number 11769683]), registered office [85 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 7LT ].
2. What ExamVault provides
We offer:
- Online practice papers and mock exams across Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Maths, and English (GL Assessment style).
- Daily Subscription with daily practice packs, skill tracking, and adaptive content.
- Adaptive Pack — personalised papers targeting your child's weakest skills.
- Printable PDF Packs for offline practice.
- Tuition Centre product — a separate offering for tutors managing student cohorts (separate terms apply for centre subscriptions; contact us).
We may add, modify, or remove features over time. If a paid feature is removed during an active subscription, you'll be entitled to a pro-rata refund.
3. Accounts
An adult (typically a parent, guardian, or tutor) must create the account. The account holder is responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for activity under their account.
You must provide accurate information at sign-up and keep it up to date. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
4. Pricing and payment
Prices are listed on our Packages page in pounds sterling (GBP), inclusive of any applicable VAT.
Payments are handled by Stripe. By providing payment details you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge the listed price for the package you've chosen.
For subscriptions, you authorise recurring charges at the agreed cadence (monthly or annual) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us.
5. Cancellation, refunds, and the 14-day cooling-off period
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have a 14-day cooling-off periodfrom the date of purchase, during which you can cancel and receive a refund — BUTthis right is lost once you start using the digital content (this is standard for digital downloads and online services).
Specifically:
- If you buy a one-off package (All Subjects Bundle, Single Subject Pack, Adaptive Pack, PDF Pack) and have NOT yet accessed any of the practice papers within 14 days of purchase, you can request a full refund.
- If you HAVE accessed practice content within those 14 days, the cooling-off right no longer applies and refunds are at our discretion.
- For monthly subscriptions, cancellation stops future charges. Already-paid months are non-refundable once you've accessed content during the period.
- For annual subscriptions, the same 14-day rule applies — full refund if you haven't accessed content; pro-rata or no refund (at our discretion) thereafter.
To request a refund, contact us via the contact form. We'll respond within 3 working days.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account login or grant access to others outside your immediate household / authorised pupils (for centres).
- Download, copy, scrape, or redistribute our questions, papers, explanations, or PDFs for any purpose other than personal use by the named pupil(s).
- Use the service to develop a competing 11+ product or train another AI/ML model on our content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other accounts.
- Use the service in a way that disrupts other users (e.g. abusing the Emma chatbot, generating excessive traffic, attempting denial-of-service).
- Upload abusive, illegal, or infringing content via any input (contact form, contribution flow, Emma chat).
Breach of these may result in suspension or termination without refund.
7. Child users
The service is intended for use by children typically aged 9–11, under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or tutor. The adult account holder accepts these terms on behalf of the child and is responsible for the child's use of the service.
See our Privacy Policy for details on how we protect children's data under the UK Children's Code.
8. Intellectual property
All content on ExamVault — practice questions, papers, explanations, worked solutions, the Emma chatbot's outputs, PDFs, branded artwork — is our copyright (or licensed to us).
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use this content for the educational benefit of the named pupil(s) on your account, for the duration of your access. You may not reproduce, redistribute, publish, or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
9. Tuition centres and B2B users
If you've signed up as a tuition centre via /tutors-tuition-centres, additional terms apply to seat-based pricing, student management, and contributed content. Those are set out in the centre dashboard at sign-up and supersede the relevant individual-consumer terms above where they conflict.
10. Service availability
We aim to keep the service available 24/7 but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and unexpected outages may occur. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability, though we'll always work to restore service as quickly as possible.
11. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Subject to that: our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or non-direct losses (e.g. exam outcomes, lost opportunities).
ExamVault is a practice and revision platform. Exam results depend on many factors outside our control. We make no promises about specific outcomes.
12. Termination
You can close your account at any time via your account settings or by contacting us. On closure, we'll delete your data according to the timelines in our Privacy Policy, subject to legal retention requirements (e.g. tax records).
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms — typically with notice and an opportunity to fix the issue, except for serious breaches (e.g. fraud, abuse).
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we'll email registered users at least 14 days before the change takes effect, giving you time to cancel if you don't agree. Minor changes (typos, clarifications) take effect on publication.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless you're a consumer entitled to bring proceedings in your country of residence under local law.
